Now that we're almost midway through the free agent signings and teams in the NBA are mostly done or wrapping up with their transactions, I'm still left with one question... "Where will AI be next season?"
It's just hard to see a player of Iverson's caliber not to be part of any team next year. But then again, it's also hard to see where he'll fit this coming season. I've browsed through the ideas of him joining the other teams, I just don't know where to fit his game.
Memphis thought about it and offered $5mill for 1 year, but that means that he'll be coming off the bench. This would certainly, and obviously halt the development of the Grizzlies young guards in Conley and OJ Mayo.
The Clippers also entertained the idea of bringing in AI... to sell tickets.
Most of these deals would also come with the stipulation that AI would come off the bench... Detroit tried it... AI ended his season early with a "bad back". Now I don't know if he'll ever sign for something like it.
As we go through the off-season... the question still remains... Where will AI be at the start of this season?

Mark IV Iron Man II
Screen Rant was at the San Diego Comic Con and this is what the Marvel Kiosk has on display, Tony Stark's Hall of Armor, and we may be seeing the armor that the Tin Man would don in the second film.
From left to right you can see the armors from Mark I to Mark IV. Mark I was the one he used to escape his capturers. Mark II was the one he tried to fly around the city. Mark III was the one that he used to fight Iron Mongerer. Mark IV is the one that he might be using in the 2nd film... With Terrence Howard, Rhodes saying "Next time baby" as he looked at one armor in Starks basement would be a hint that Rhodes will be flying around with buddy Stark in the 2nd film...
Everything will all be seen come May 2010.

LeBitch
When I shared my friend @jeskeets tweet about the video of LeBron going to come out through the ever watchful eyes of TMZ, he got excited and was ecstatic to share me the new word he found through blogs...
LeBitch.
True enough, he's been acting like one lately. After winning the league MVP award and his team basically racking every silverware out there... He was dubbed as LeCryBaby when he left the court after their team bowed out against the Magic... and now he's nowhere to be found after 2nd year man dunked on him in his own camp.
Getting dunked on is nothing really... but then this guy really made a big deal out of it.
In the 30 second mark of this video... you'll see why Jordan Crawford is 'geeked' and why he became... LeBitch.

For Tito
Today a very good man, who's kind in nature, a father to everyone, and a friend of all, gave up his spirit to be with our Creator. He'll be missed alot, he'll surely be remembered by all his family and friends. And for sure, he'll never leave the hearts of those he shared his life with.
Without leaving anything behind, I witnessed this man poured it all to his work, and to his family.
Helping people who are in need was part of his name, every landslide that involves miners, he was there to initiate rescue. He always said and showed love to his children, and how they grew up would be the very testimony of how he gave it. And lastly, he never stopped believing and loving God until the very end.
To that I raise my glass for my Tito. Who always surprised me with advices and always shared a warm hug. He who never stepped back when there are challenges, and he who showed and shared alot of love to his family. I thank you for that Tito Ernie...
There'll be a day when we'll all meet again... without pain, without sadness and mourning... there'll be a day for that... today I just want to thank you, and celebrate your life.
Cheers...
I'll miss you Tito Ernie... Journey on.

Lullaby
Today started out well... A good sleep, and woke up just in time to grab breakfast and get prepared before stepping out of the condo to get a cab to work.
Then... suddenly... rain started to fall...
cold air breezed in through the windows and sang a soothing lullaby that sent me packing up to dreamland for another 30 minutes.
It compromised my preparation, but then again, I'm just a 20 minute walk away from my office, I just didn't want to arrive all sweaty to work so I still get a cab every morning. This day was different... I stepped out of the condo at around 7:15 am and there's just no available taxi that was passing by.
I sucked it in and began to take little steps... starting from 1 and then taking the second until I got here. Accompanied by the drops of rain, I couldn't help but whip out my phone and just get this thing in pictures. Like I said in my previous blog... I miss my camera.
And so here I am... at work... trying to recollect my thoughts of the wet adventure (not really). And I'm really hoping we could also get tickets later for the first night of the new Harry Potter movie.
And also... where did I friggin put that umbrella?

Missing the Hobby
One thing that makes me envy other photography hobbyist around is the opportunities they get around their backyard.
Some of my contacts in Flickr would post the San Francisco bridge on a foggy night with a full moon to boot, or a small water fall thats on their creek that's just around the corner of their house. These guys can just get up, grab their cameras and move in to make gorgeous pictures.
I, on the other hand, is struggling to find shots that's just outside my yard. I have a river that's oozing with trash because of the inconsiderate people living near it. With cluttered houses, there's just not much there. I have to travel for miles to get something going.
One of the things that I usually go for are landscapes. As you can see, most of my Flickr posts would have these on. I also love to get the grungy architectures that our old churches here in the Philippines would give, I'd love to have those on black and white too.
Hehe... but then again, most photographers would just make something ordinary... interesting...
Sometimes I just wish I can do that in a jiffy...
But with all things said and done... I think I'm just missing my camera. He's just there sitting right beside my monitor at home. I think I'm going to take him out this Friday and Saturday.

Return of the Tube
Dead Set - I got my hands on this show and wished there's more than 5 episodes of this. My brother finished gobbling all 5 of em last night while I slept through the 2nd because it was just that late in the evening already. I would've stayed up if I could blast the volume up and watch it how it's supposed to, blasting speakers and me screaming like a bitch.
That's what I did while playing the Zombie Game in Call of Duty: World at War and while the zombies gang up on you when you alarm them in Left 4 Dead.
Plot Summary by IMDb.
It's eviction night at the Big Brother house, but something very strange is happening; the dead are coming alive and attacking the living. When zombies attack all of the audience outside, the Big Brother contestants are unaware of the death outside the fan-proof (and zombie-proof) big brother house until the show's runner, Kelly, comes into the house and warns them of the doom outside. Stuck with even less contact with the outside world, the house-mates must sneak out of the house to get supplies, without being seen by the zombies.
This is what they should do with the show Heroes. Let them be taken into prison by the government and be isolated from everyone. A virus then spreads amongst the nation making all of them zombies. Now it's up to the Heroes to save them all from it... find a cure or...
...
survive...
now wouldn't that be awesome? then Claire Bennet gets bitten by one and will be the Zombie that never dies. HOW ABOUT THAT FOR A PLOT!

Modern Warfare 2 Teasing Teasers
Modern Warfare 2 which is pegged to be released November is showing out what they'll include in their 'prestige package'.
Fully functioning Night Vision mother friggin Goggles.
This is something worth to be seen but then again... I just want to get my hands on the game and play it. I remember the good ol days when I slept over my friends place and played Modern Warfare 1. I sat on it... and never stood up. I finished the whole game in one sitting from about 8:00 pm to 1:00 am the next day. I didn't get to go to work that day because of being so fatigued with war.
My brother then got the World at War and man o man... it didn't disappoint as well. Packaged with an awesome 'Zombie Mode' bonus game... You won't get tired of playing it.
My franken-pc monster isn't up yet, and looking at my finances, it's not going along with what was planned. This game is coming out November... maybe I can cook something up before the time comes.
War is at hand... Gotta be equipped for it.

Theatrical Drought
Upon residing in Mandaluyong for most of the weekends. Me and my cousin developed a ritual to hang out for a movie every now and then to ease the boredom of not having the comforts of your own home. We watch movies every now and then.
Last week after the explosive week that the 2nd Transformers film caused, we found ourselves staring at posters of Hannah Montana and Ice Age 3... movies that we wouldn't to get ourselves into.
This following weeks would mean redemption as the 6th Harry Potter film is coming out on July 15th? 16th?... Johnny Depp's Public Enemies will be showing on July 22, and Up to end this month. I think Year One, Land of the Lost and GI Joe would be coming out one by one too...
Well cousin... we won't get bored for these coming weeks... good thing Shang is just around the corner.

Cold Arizona Summer
The current NBA Off-Season is turning out to be a mad one. The names that are being moved from one franchise to another is crazy. They range from the Kirk Humphries to the Ron Artest's to the Vince Carter's and the Shawn Marion's.
A great deal of teams have greatly improved their stock with their current movements while the others, including my Phoenix Suns, inactivity simply baffles me.
Early this morning a deal concerning the move of Shawn Marion to the Dallas Mavericks is finalized which apparently broke my heart because, even if it was a long shot, I wanted him back in Phoenix. Now there are talks about the Jazz' Carlos Boozer is being shopped by the Bulls.
Which brings me to my question...

Which brings me to my question...
What the f*** is Steve Kerr doing?
Being a general manager, you should be looking after the success of the franchise, but soon after he sat down there replacing Mike D'Antoni (who replaced Bryan Colangelo) as the Suns GM, everything went downhill. One bad deal after another... one bad idea after another.
The Orlando Magic got Vince Carter, the Boston Celtics got Rasheed Wallace, the San Antonio Spurs got Richard Jefferson and Antonio McDyess, the Los Angeles Lakers got Ron Artest, and lastly... the Dallas Mavericks got Shawn Marion and possibly Marcin Gortat... while the Phoenix Suns got Ben Wallace and Sasha Pavlovic and the 48th pick of next years draft (AWESOME!).
I know we're really steering into rebuilding this franchise but without picks next year, who happens to showcase John Wall, I don't know when I'll see this franchise climb up again that playoff spot.
The Phoenix Suns are looking into trading Amar'e Stoudemire but somehow no one is biting, we're still in possession of Steve Nash who's really not getting any younger, we're trying to hold on to Grant Hill who's basically at the final run of his career and a bunch of questionable young men named Alando Tucker, Robin Lopez and this years draft picks Earl Clark and Taylor "not Blake" Griffin.
Having those I'm looking into starting the season with this lineup that doesn't really make much sense. Steve Nash, Leandro Barbosa/Tucker/Richardson, Jason Richardson/Earl Clark, Louis Amundson, and Amar'e.
I just don't know how this lineup could get into the playoffs again, and having no picks... because we sent our UNPROTECTED pick to OKC next year along with Kurt Thomas for cash, there's just nothing to look forward to in the next 3 or more years.
The only thing that this franchise can boast of now is their secret fountain of youth that made Grant Hill and Shaq valuable assets once more. Maybe we could buy into that and get cheap could've-been-stars that seeks a second chance to revitalize their careers like Darius Miles who was recently waived by the Memphis Grizzlies. Make a way to get Yao and T-Mac to come over, see if we can reassemble Penny and give it a go like the kind of team the Celtics is assembling... at least do something for crying out loud.
Sometimes I wish I didn't like the Suns, sometimes I wish I wasn't a fan, but like it or not, I'm with them for the long haul, I just don't imagine myself not being one. I've been following them since Sir Charles led them to almost win a title, I followed them when they had Jason Kidd and Penny to lead the charge. I followed them down when Stephon Marbury brought them under and I followed them when Steve Nash made us believe again...

CR9 Meets Madrid
A week after Real Madrid presented their first signing, Kaka, the Madrid faithful, 80,000 of them, came back to the Santiago Bernabeu to meet the 2nd 'galactico' to arrive in Madrid.
The 80,000 strong that came in Santiago Bernabeu witnessed how CR9 began to live his dream.
i HALA MADRID !
Galacticos - The term used to describe Real Madrid circa 2000-2004 who boasted a roster that comprised of the worlds biggest soccer names like Zinadine Zidane, Luis Figo, Raul, Roberto Carlos, Ronaldo and Raul.
This team won the La Liga title in 2000-2001 and 2002-2003 (some consider the league title that Real Madrid won in 2006-2007 signed off the era) and the UEFA Champions League in 2001-2002.
2nd Wave - The 2nd wave of the Galacticos began when Florentino Perez, the bringer of the previous Galacticos in Real Madrid, won the presidency and brought Kaka, Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema to play with Real.

NBA - Offseason Beat
It's been a while since we've had this guys, and since we're experiencing one of the most busy offseason movement ever... why not talk about them right?
let's begin from the top
Shaquille O'Neal to Clevelend for Ben Wallace and Sasha Pavlovic
The Suns simply traded the monster they rejuvenated for their cause that didn't work... and got nothing but budget breathing space back, and I'm not quite sure how they're going to use it. The free agents are coming and going as we speak, and Ben Wallace haven't made a decision whether to retire or not. Pavlovic may be serviceable from the Phoenix bench, but this lineup is really depleted. I'm expecting another grim season for my Suns.
Vince Carter and Ryan Anderson to Orlando for Courtney Lee, Tony Battie, and Rafer Alston
This was a smart move for both teams. The Nets got a bright future in Lee and good role players in Alston and Battie. But with Harris already running the floor, I don't know if Alston could keep his mouth shut given that he's gonna come off the bench.
The Magic on the other hand gambled on Vince's old knees. This could make or break for them as Vince showed that he can still shoot outside, but... he's more of Half Man, Half Deteriorated right now... But we'll see. They gave a good prospect out and got another one in the form of Ryan Anderson who could really play the Orlando game. RAnderson can really shoot it outside, and if he's really someone who could bloom to a Troy Murphy? Dwight would love that hard rebounder and outside shooter with him any day.
Richard Jefferson to the Spurs for Bruce Bowen, Kurt Thomas and Fabricio Oberto
Spurs may have another run for the title for them with the addition of Richard Jefferson. They didn't need Bruce Bowen, KT and Fabricio and they got a quality scorer back. With Pop's wits, RJ may be seeing alot of shots the way Roger Mason Jr did.
The Bucks on the other hand traded Oberto for Amir Johnson who may become a quality young stud off their bench (or starting). Nothing to expect from Milwaukee but they may create some fantasy players there.
Mike Miller, Randy Foye to the Wizards for Etan Thomas, Darius Songalia, Oleksiy Pecherov
One word... Quality.
The Wizards got two quality guys from Minesotta for a bag of... something else. Mike Miller and Randy Foye can help their team off the bench who already boasts of a lineup consisting Agent Zero Minutes, Antawn Jamison and Caron Butler. With the addition of the offensive guru, Flip Saunders... expect this team to give us a change we can believe in...
The Wolves on the other hand... seems to still have Kevin McHale running the show... 3 PG's on draft day and these guys? hmmmmm... If they're expiring contracts I'd understand.
Jamal Crawford to the Heat for Acie Law and Speedy Claxton.
The Golden State Warriors resolved their clogged up back court situation by sending away Jamal Crawford for... a couple of guards. Well I'm not seeing Law or Claxton suit up for Nelson this year... but the Hawks got a headache with Crawford. I'm interested on how disrupted their rotation would be.
Darko Milicic to the Knicks for Quentin Richardson.
A wise move for the Knicks here because... David Lee might move some place.
Zach Randolph to the Grizzlies for Quentin Richardson.
Time to experience some locker room chaos in Memphis.
Jason Kapono to the 76ers for Reggie Evans.
Sixers got a shooter... Raptors got a dude.
Ron Artest to the Lakers
This is something of a head scratcher, I liked how they used Trevor and I don't know how they'll handle Artests attitude. He's no Rodman because Dennis didn't take shots from MJ and Pip... Ron would take alot of questionable shots, more than Fisher will ever do, from Kobe and the others... And I don't know if it's wise for the Lakers to put a guy who took a hiatus from Basketball to pursue a rap career in LA. It's going to be a wild ride... but still, it's going to be entertaining come November.
Trevor Ariza to the Rockets
This is another headscratcher. Ariza thrived in LA because he had a Kobe Bryant to support. I don't know if Trevor would be a go to guy, but I'd still love him to prove me wrong. The guy has a great attitude (from what I see on tv) and would love him to be big. Houston could be that place for him...
Ben Gordon and Charlie Villanueva to the Pistons
The Pistons are rebuilding and they got these guys. Ben Gordon who basically doesn't have any idea what a friggin assist is and Charlie Villanueva who's game is so inconsistent it's always a gamble on playing him on your fantasy team.
I really don't know how Rip, Ben Gordon and Stuckey could work together... but then again the league hasn't started yet and this could still change...
Hedo Turkoglu to the Raptors
The Magic would surely miss this guy but he did demand alot for what he's capable of doing. The Raptors gave him that. This is a move to keep Bosh thinking if staying in Toronto would work in the next few years. Given that Marion could still sign for them, T-dot may make a run for the playoffs this year...
All I know is that under Bryan Colangelo... they won't have to fear in building a team. That guy knows alot when it comes to those.
Rasheed Wallace to the Celtics
Well leprechaun fans... Sheed gives the Celtics another chance to run at that title. Boston has become the last chance hotel for these kind of stars that had PJ Brown kiss that ring 2 seasons ago. Well Sheed has a chance for his 2nd here in Boston... damn. Time for Perk to say goodbye to them minutes.
Still wished he had gone to Orlando.
