Miami = Mount Olympus

Mount Olympus, in Greek Mythology, is the mountain where all their gods lived and ruled. Where Zeus throws his bolts of lightning to wage war at anything that goes against him. Along with him are the other gods and goddesses that ruled each of their own jurisdiction. Ares of war, Aphrodite of love, Athena of wisdom and so on.

7/8/2010, Miami Florida just became like the Mount Olympus of the NBA. This is where LeBron James decided to play after he held the whole league in hostage, breathless in anticipation of where he'll go for from this season on. This marked the most interesting off-season that the NBA may have, or may will ever experience when the biggest stars of today such as LeBron, Wade, Bosh, Amar'e, Boozer and the likes have the freedom in the world to choose where they'll end. James decided to turn his back from Cleveland and head towards Miami to form this sight.

And what sight to behold. LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, doing his best KG impersonation, to possibly form the biggest of all big threes.

I'm still curious how this would look like inside the court. I know Bosh wouldn't mind taking a step back in his player role but who will be Batman and who will be Robin. Who will be the Zeus in this mountain and who will be Hephaestus to hand him over his lightning bolts. Who will be the other 11 that will form this roster? We already know that Chalmers would still be part of this team (lucky), and according the league buzz, Mike Miller might return to Florida to dress up with these guys.

Alot of questions followed up the answer James provided yesterday. We also have Cavs owner, Gilbert giving an answer of his own to this whole James-to-Miami-leaving-Clevelanders-with-broken-hearts-again written in a comical font. Chicago, New York, New Jersey and the LA Clippers? can now move on with their lives and sign available Free Agents to bolster up their rosters.

Chicago wasted no time after signing up Boozer and Korver from Utah. The Knicks pulled off a trade sending David Lee to Golden State for Ronnie Turiaf, Azubuike and Anthony Randolph. New Jersey signed Travis Outlaw and The Clippers? signed Gomes? and Randy Foye.

So now that this crazy off-season just turned the corner, we can't wait and see these three play and (possibly) dismantle every team that faces them. Suns coach, Alvin Gentry still has one thing to share with them, team chemistry is one strange thing. So with everything said and done...

Come on October! Bring on the Heat.

P.S.
I will, in no way, join the millions of bandwagoners that just started buying heat merch and call themselves as fans.
I will, with disappointment and depressing stature, remain a Phoenix Suns fan (with the Orlando Magic as my mistress) even if the !@$%!@%#! owner doesn't plan on winning a title.
